Dear CCA Families,

I want to start by congratulating our students, staff, and the entire Cherokee Charter Academy community on recently being named a Top Public Charter School by Insider Education Magazine. This recognition is a direct reflection of the hard work happening every day in our classrooms and across our campus. We are incredibly proud of our teachers and staff, grateful for our supportive families, and proud of our students for rising to the expectations set before them.

We are currently in our open enrollment period and enjoying the opportunity to welcome prospective families to campus. Our team truly enjoys giving tours and sharing what makes CCA special with new families. Enrollment for new students is available online, and we continue to see strong interest from families looking for a high-quality educational option. We appreciate the excitement and support surrounding our growing school community.

Recent inclement weather has required us to utilize eLearning days, allowing us to keep learning going while minimizing disruptions to the school year. As a result, February 16 and March 13 are now regular school days. We are thankful that eLearning has given us the flexibility to avoid additional calendar changes, and we will continue to monitor conditions if further adjustments become necessary.

We are also excited to share that our first students have begun attending Spartanburg Community College this semester, through our growing partnership. This is an exciting step for our school and for our students, as it allows them to earn college credits while still in high school. We are proud of these students for taking on this opportunity and look forward to expanding this partnership as we continue to create meaningful pathways for college and career readiness.

Go Patriots!
